About the SCA

The SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) is a group of people that exists around the world that are interested in European medieval times, basically from 600-1600 A.D. so it's a very large time span. It started in the USA in the 1960's and spread around the world, it came to Sweden in the 1980's and I found it in 1996. We try to recreate the romantic part of that time so we skip the plague and such things, we take only the fun parts. The requirements are "an attempt at wearing medieval clothes" and you are allowed to participate. So it's easy to start, why don't you look up your local group today?!
